Hótel Geirland is 3 km off the Route 1 Ring Road and 3 minutes’ drive from Kirkjubæjarklaustur village. All rooms offer tea/coffee facilities and views of the surrounding mountain ridge.
Some of Geirland’s cosy rooms are set in individual cottages in the garden. Free Wi-Fi and a TV are available in the main building.
During warmer weather, breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace. The restaurant and bar provide other meal options. Lunch packs can be made on request.
Skaftafell National Park is 60 minutes’ drive from Geirland Hótel. Staff can arrange trips to the isolated highland lake, Langisjór. Fishing licenses for the Geirlandsá River can be bought at the hotel.
