Banksia Mountain Retreat is a place of beauty and relaxation with spectacular views over the Paterson Valley towards the Barrington Tops. This property is located along the escarpment atop Mount George in the Greater Hunter region.
Banksia Mountain Retreat is a private self-catering spa cabin that sleeps 4. There are two bedrooms: one with a king bed, the other with two singles. There is one bathroom. Bedrooms are made available according to the number of people in your booking. Linens and towels are provided along with shampoo, conditioner and soap. In the kitchen there is a Nespresso compatible coffee machine with pods to get you started, sugar, and a selection of black and herbal teas. The pantry contains basic cooking essentials for your use such as salt, pepper, olive oil, peanut oil, balsamic and white vinegar, BBQ sauce, tomato sauce and baking basics. You can choose to cook in the fully equipped kitchen, BBQ on the back deck overlooking the valley, or visit the local cafe and pub in Vacy. The dining area has large windows which take in the view and there is a very comfortable living space with seasonal woodstove. The loft upstairs has a cozy TV room with a large selection of DVDs and a reading nook with a bookshelf full of books for you to enjoy during your stay at Banksia.
This rustic spa cabin is nestled in beautiful Eaglereach Wilderness Resort. Eaglereach is comprised of 700 acres of pristine native bush to explore, lagoons, several bush walking trails and a lookout. It is home to many native animals such as kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and goannas as well as home to many native birds such as King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Blue Wrens, Kookaburras and the majestic Wedge-tailed Eagle.
